How do attendees obtain training material? 

For in-person courses, AGC will provide hard copy material. For virtual courses, AGC will provide links to download material.

 

What are the virtual AK-CESCL course requirements?

 

What are the prerequisites for an AK-CESCL Refresher course? 

As of February 20th, 2018, AK-CESCL certified individuals may renew certification by taking the 1-Day Refresher course before or within the approved grace period of 90 calendar days from the expiration date of their certification. During the grace period, the individual is considered not certified for purposes of being a “qualified person” and for purposes of “permit requirements”. Attendees are required to sign a Student Awareness Form.

 

What is AK-CESCL's website? 

 

Am I an AGC of Alaska member?

All employees of any AGC of Alaska member company are considered AGC members and should register accordingly for AGC member pricing.

 

Am I a State-of-Alaska employee?

All employees of the state of Alaska should register as a state of Alaska employee for AGC member pricing.

 

Am I an AHBA member?

All employees of any AHBA member company are considered AHBA members and should register accordingly for AGC member pricing.

 

Could this class be canceled?

Yes. If there's inadequate attendee registration 1-week prior to the class start date, we will cancel and notify registered participants of the change.

 

Could this class fill to maximum capacity?

Yes. If the maximum attendees register for the class, registration will automatically close.

 

How do I change my registration? 

 

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations require a notice of 2-weeks prior to the course date. Late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. Moving registration to another class can be done prior to 2-days of training date.

 

What time does class start?

Class begins at 8:30 a.m.

 

What is the lateness and attendance policy?

Late arrival, early departure or other absences from scheduled hours equal to or greater than 20 minutes is considered an absence and must be avoided.

 

Does AGC provide a student discount?

Five UAA/UAF students per semester are eligible to attend an AK-CESCL or CQM course at the discounted rate of $50.00. These seats are allotted on a first-come-first-served basis. Only students who are currently enrolled in the Construction Management program are eligible for these discounted prices. Students who are Juniors or Seniors are preferred.

Please submit requests for course placement to ruby@agcak.org or call (907) 865-0547. AGC Staff will verify that the student is in the Construction Management program and that no more than five students per semester have used the discount.
